In addition to speaking as much English as possible, it is equally important to start focusing on a native English speakers’ accent.  When you are watching North American movies or programs on TV pay attention to how the native English speaker moves their mouth. What do you notice? North Americans move their mouths a lot! Do you move your mouth a lot when you speak English? Or do you tend to speak with a closed mouth? Take a few minutes and look in the mirror while you speak. If your lips are fairly closed, try to open up your mouth when you are speaking by dropping your jaw.
